This is a very well thought-out instrument that is well designed. the open wrap of the valve tubing virtually eliminates sharp bends so that the air/sound will flow in a smoother fashion. The horn is comfortable to hold and the valves are reachable for people with smaller hands. Great sound is produced by this tuba, with a substantial low register.
